Lisa Larkin, Esq.

Lisa Larkin, an attorney practicing in Tucson, Arizona, has been a REALTOR since 1986 and is currently an Associate Broker with RE/MAX All Executives.

In 1993, Lisa was approached by real estate developers in Nothern Mexico seeking assistance with marketing their projects to North Americans. The challenge was twofold; Lisa not only had to drive traffic to the Mexican real estate projects, but also had to show Americans and Canadians how to purchase property in Mexico easily and legally. Just emerging as a powerful force in the new information age, the internet proved to be the perfect solution to disseminate both messages. In 1993 Lisa launched MexicoRealty.com, and for over 15 years it has been the definitive source. In fact, Lisa and MexicoRealty.com were recently profiled by CNN.

Immediately thereafter, Lisa expanded the site to include resale properties and a Resource Directory of other professionals and businesses providing real estate related products and services. She began conducting private seminars on Buying Real Estate in Mexico and became a presenter on educational panels for the State Bar of Arizona and the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business. Lisa was appointed to the Arizona Governor’s Task Force on Mexican Real Estate, and served as a member for five years. The Task Force, which eventually became the Ad Hoc Real Estate Committee for the Arizona Mexico Commission, created a Buyer’s and Seller’s Advisory which were eventually published by the Arizona Department of Real Estate by then Commissioner and Committee co-chair Elaine Richardson.

Through the National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade, Lisa led the effort to regulate real estate practitioners in the State of Sonora, Mexico. Today Sonora is one of the only states in Mexico to regulate the activities of real estate salespeople.

For over 15 years, Lisa has consulted with countless Americans and Canadians interested in buying, selling and developing Mexican Property and has participated in many title transfers.  Current plans includes include Webinars, Discovery Travel, Blogs, Classifieds, Spanish classes and an Electronic Newsletter.

One of our many success stories is the renowned master planned community of Sabino Springs, located in Tucson, Arizona. This multiple builder development, offers everything—condominiums to multi-million dollar custom homes. For over a year, it was stalemated; not one home or lot had been sold. The original marketing plan was altogether incorrect, as well as expensive. At C.J, Heileman and Associates, we take pride in providing logical plans--taking the path of least resistance, obtaining maximum results in order to meet our client’s goals and objectives. As for Sabino Springs, they were sold-out in short order. The cost to them? One month of our multi-media plan, was considerably less than the previous agency's singular purchase of a full color page ad in a National Golf Magazine--which over the course of a year had generated zero prospects.

One of our first clients, called in at what some would say “was the 11th hour”. C.J.Heileman and Associates came to the rescue of this local developer, who desperately needed support for his high-rise condominium project. Prior to our association, he had received more than one bad review. C.J.
